Oral presentations
The EUTRO 2010 settings give room for 3-5 parallel sessions and a maximum of 186 oral presentations. The call for presentations opens 1 February 2010. Please check back at a later date to read more or to submit an abstract.

The sessions at EUTRO 2010 will include:

• Linking loads with nutrient concentrations and effects - implications for managent
• Nutrient availability, limitation and dynamics
• Climate and physical controls on the biogeochemical dynamics of the coastal zone
• Phytoplankton
• Eutrophication and harmful algae
• Eutrophication and submerged aquatic vegetation
• Assessment and management support tools
• Oxygen, hypoxia and anoxia
• Sediments and benthic fluxes
• Regime shifts, thresholds and shifting baselines
• Aquaculture, nature restoration and other non-traditional measures
• Monitoring, modelling and assessment of eutrophication in coastal waters - implications to management
• Successful and/or science-based nutrient management strategies

Workshops and seminars
EUTRO 2010 will, based on the good experiences from 2006, host 3-4 workshops and seminars on Thursday 17 June 2010. Currently, the following workshops are planned:

• "BNI workshop: Assessment of measures for a Baltic Sea environment 'unaffected by eutrophication'" (Chaired by Jacob Carstensen & Christoph Humborg)
• "Comparison of eutrophication assessment tools" (Chaired by Michelle Devlin et al.)
• "A 'Consensus Seminar' focusing on causes, effects and solutions" (Chaired by Jesper Andersen et al.)

Poster presentations
A poster session is planned to take place on Wednesday 16 June 2010. There will be no special poster themes.
